Memoit – Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains how Memoit (“the App”) handles user information.

1. No Personal Data Collection

  • Memoit does not require registration or login.
  • The developer does not collect, store, or share any personal information, such as your name, email, or usage data.

    • 2. iCloud Storage

  • Memoit uses Apple iCloud services to synchronize and store your notes, tasks, images, and other content across your devices.
  • All data stored in iCloud is managed under Apple’s Privacy Policy and protected by your Apple ID.
  • The developer has no access to your iCloud data.

    • 3. Device Permissions

  • The App may request permission to access features such as:
  • Photos/Camera – to allow you to add images to your notes.
  • Location – to save map locations in your notes.
  • These permissions are used only for the intended functionality and data remains on your device and/or iCloud.

    • 4. Third-Party Services

    Memoit uses the following trusted third-party services:

  • RevenueCat – to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase information (e.g., product IDs, transaction history) required to process payments. RevenueCat does not have access to your personal notes or iCloud data.
  • Firebase Analytics (by Google) – to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as feature usage and app performance. This helps improve the App’s functionality. Firebase may collect non-personally identifiable information, such as device type, app version, or interactions within the App.

    • 5. Children’s Privacy

  • Memoit does not knowingly collect or store data from children. Since no personal data is collected, the App complies with child privacy regulations such as COPPA and GDPR-K.

    • 6. Security

  • Your data is stored locally on your device and/or in your iCloud account.
  • iCloud provides encryption and security measures, but you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device.

    • 7. Changes to This Policy

  • This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in features or legal requirements.
  • Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
